The Seaview Game & Lion Park and the Maitland River mouth dunes are minutes away. This is coastal living with a genuine community behind it, not a holiday-let strip.

NMBM's coastal bylaws keep it that way: dogs are welcome outside the main bathing areas as long as they're on a leash and you're carrying something to clean up after them — not bureaucracy for its own sake, just enough structure to keep an excitable dog off the road, out of the dune-nesting oystercatchers' way, and clear of anyone who'd rather not have a wet nose introduce itself. Bring the leash, skip the sand dunes, and you've got one of the best dog-walking stretches of coastline in the Bay right on your doorstep.
